Beware Rotty Loose

Love this sign, spotted on the Channel 4 documentary 'Skint', set around the Westcliff estate in Scunthorpe.

Glad I'm not their postman.

    Any idea what it means? I saw it on "Skint", too, and thought it so odd that I just had to look it up. Thought it might be a common Brit phrase.

      Rotty is short for Rottweiler which is a breed of dog.
